The Kathrein RRU 4000 reader family is the most powerful RAIN RFID edge device for a wide range of applications. The 33 dBm UHF RF unit and the 800 Mhz dual-core processor offer the highest reading performance in harsh environments. Scalable connectivity such as PoE+/LAN (RRU 4500), WiFi and BLE (RRU 4560) or 2G/3G/4G (RRU 4570) offer modularity and cost efficiency due to lower infrastructure requirements. Based on the latest RFID standards, such as EPC Gen2v2/ISO 18000-63, the RRU 4560 supports all market-leading transponder chip features for security, authentication and encryption.
