Software Overview​

Kathrein Solutions supports its customers and partners with a wide range of software tools that facilitate the integration of the Kathrein RAIN RFID and RTLS product families, deliver reproducible results and, if desired, ensure secure production operation. The test and configuration software Reader!Start enables both the beginner and the expert to efficiently work out the ideal configuration. API protocol descriptions as well as the corresponding programming examples support the software integration into partner systems. The latest version of the reader firmware and the internal Linux operating system keep the devices always up to date.

A powerful test and configuration software RTLS!Start as well as an RTLS!Wizard for fast test operation are also available for the new RTLS portfolio. The latest firmware versions as well as API interface descriptions help with integration into higher-level software landscapes and production systems.

With the CrossTalk Auto ID software suite, you can process and analyze raw data from sensor systems, generate a verified event and send it in the desired format to the higher-level software landscape (ERP/MES). 
CrossTalk supports all common AutoID devices of different technologies and models as well as RTLS systems.
