From Track & Trace to Intelligent Process Control – An Interview with KATHREIN Solutions by Think WIoT

Industrial localization is increasingly evolving from simple position determination to the intelligent control and automation of production and logistics processes. In a recent interview with Think WIoT explained Stoyan Iliev, CTO of KATHREIN Solutions, and what role technologies such as RAIN RFID, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) play in this.

The focus is on how companies can make their processes more efficient, transparent, and cost-effective through the targeted collection and integration of identification and location data. It becomes clear that the future lies in hybrid location systems that combine different technologies according to specific process requirements. New developments such as Bluetooth Channel Sounding also open up additional possibilities for industrial tracking.
