RAIN RFID ANTENNAS

The PRO Line antennas are particularly robust antennas and therefore suitable for the highest mechanical loads and harsh environments.

FAQ: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

RFID UHF antennas are specialized devices used in conjunction with RFID readers to receive and transmit signals from UHF (Ultra-High Frequency) RFID tags. UHF antennas are known to provide greater range and faster data transmission than antennas of other frequency ranges, making them ideal for many industrial and commercial applications.

Choosing the right antenna depends on several factors:

Detection range: Determine the required range for your application and then select the antenna from the areas Near Field, Low, Mid and Wide Range. Always bear in mind that the range is limited by the transmission level setting on the reader. can be further reduced.

Environmental conditions: Take into account environmental factors such as metal objects that could interfere with the RFID signal. Ideal is a undisturbed propagation, so that there is no metal or liquid between the antenna and the transponder.

Installation location: Consider whether the antenna will be used in an outdoor or indoor application, which may influence the selection. Always consider the appropriate accessories, such as connection cables.

We are happy to support you here together with our partners so that you can choose the right antenna for your application.

Kathrein Solutions offers comprehensive support, including:

  • Technical training: Training for the installation and maintenance of antennas.
  • Support teams: access to experts via a ticket system for ongoing support.
  • Documentation and manuals: Extensive resources available online to help users get the most out of their products.

Kathrein Solutions antennas are known for their high quality and performance. They offer:

High reliability: Robust design for use in difficult environmental conditions.

Adaptability: Flexible configuration options to ensure optimum performance in different applications.

Innovative technology: Use of advanced technologies for improved signal processing and control.

RFID UHF antennas work by transmitting and receiving radio waves in the UHF frequency range (typically between 860 and 960 MHz). These antennas generate an electromagnetic field that activates passive RFID tags so that they can send their stored information back to the reader.
