BASIC Training

We have made it our goal to combine our RFID and RTLS know-how with the in-house Kathrein product and solution portfolio in order to expand your personal expertise. We are firmly convinced that this knowledge advantage will give you a head start in terms of time, costs and quality when realizing your own or our joint projects.

Scope of training | BASIC training

Day 1:

RFID basics (overview & history, frequencies, power, radiation exposure, near/far field)
Readers & antennas (overview, features, commissioning and specifications)
Transponders (anatomy, types, memory, commands, modes & sessions)
Practical exercises with ReaderStart (configuration, standard settings, reading exercises)

Day 2:

CrossTalk overview (usage, architecture, licenses & updates)
CrossTalk basics (installation & configuration)
Pricing exercises with CrossTalk (device management, templates, error analysis)

For whom is BASIC training useful or suitable?

Our BASIC module is ideally suited for beginners to immerse themselves in the world of UHF RFID. Anyone who would like to get to know and try out our Kathrein solution portfolio is cordially invited to take part.

After the course you will be able to independently configure and commission a simple identification reading station.
