The RFID headlamp tag is used for the automatic, contactless identification of motorcycles and vehicles (Automatic Vehicle Identification, AVI). The label is attached to the outside of the vehicle's headlamp. When developing the headlamp tag, attention was paid to a very high reading range, which can be guaranteed without a battery thanks to a special antenna with passive IC. For maximum security, tag authentication is carried out using an AES coprocessor and a unique 128-bit AES crypto key. Privacy protection is ensured by untraceable commands and 128-bit AES group crypto key. The label material is a combination of a PP and PET layer. Additional security punchings improve security against removal and reuse.
