The Robust ARU 2400 Antenna Reader for the Automotive, Manufacturing and Logistics Sectors
In an interview at RFID & Wireless IoT Tomorrow, Martin Dobler, CTO at Kathrein Solutions GmbH, unveiled the new ARU 2400 RFID reader.
The ARU 2400 reader offers a very compact design with many mechanical integration options in existing AutoID solutions. Due to its simple integration into an eKanban system, it is ideally suited, for example, for the mechanical engineering, the automotive or the supply industry.
An RFID-supported asset tracking system enables absolute transparency along the supply chain and thus reduces, for example, the loss of components or vehicle parts and the error rate in the delivery of individual components. Furthermore, the use of RFID enables precise and fast tracking of individual objects or finished vehicles during the transport process.
If the suppliers also use RFID or eKanban solutions, a comprehensive network is created that offers enormous savings potential for all the partners in the logistics chain. The fast transmission of data can prevent, among other things, missing or excessively high stocks and idling cycles.
